Deep Sillage

An app to remember
what you hear.

A product of KERNEL Co. GmbH. Designed and developed by SCHRIFTON.

Golden traces of sound against a deep green field
What you hear, lingers.

Some things remain
after the sound fades.

A sentence from a conversation. A passage from a podcast. A thought that arrives while listening. Deep Sillage gives these moments a personal place: to keep, reflect on and return to.

For SCHRIFTON, the project takes a familiar question into a digital form: how do we design for attention? Our work with text, sound and memory becomes a tool for what stays with us.

Five glimpses.
One personal space.

Current app views with example content and the golden-point identity.

Room for
attention.

Restrained typography, deep greens and matte gold accents create a quiet environment. The interface moves from listening to a personal thought, and from there back to its source.

Deep Sillage app icon: a small golden hemisphere on a near-black field

A point that stays.

A small, warm golden hemisphere on dark graphite becomes the app’s signature. The same point accompanies loading, listening and saving a Trace with restrained movement. With reduced motion enabled, it stays still.
